- IP address: Use the IP address that your Database Server machine is assigned to, based on the network that you want CostOS to be installed on. You may find your IPv4 address by opening a cmd window in this machine and using the command: <ipconfig>. If this Server is meant to be accessed by CostOS Workstations installed on the same machine exclusively, use 127.0.0.1
- Port: Use the static port that you set previously at the configuration of the Database Server-1433 by default.
- Login name: use the Username of the user that you created at the configuration of the Database server.
- Password: use the Password of the user that you created at the configuration of the Database server.
- Database Name: Insert the name of your new Database that CostOS will use. If you want to use a database that is already created, write it's name in this field. Please, do not use any spaces or special characters or connect to existing databases that have spaces or special characters.
Untick the box Create database if not exist if you want to connect to an already existing database, to make sure you have successfully connected to it. If this is your first CostOS Server Installation, leave this option ticked.
