Named License

• The license is for a single User, it can not be shared among multiple users, it can not be shared among multiple machines, it can not be shared among multiple

• The license can be transferred

   after

  only for exceptional reasons and for limited times, after the original license holder deactivate license. File>Settings>Deactivate.

• Activation of

  A named license should be

  enabled on

  activated during the first CostOS Workstation Startup.

• Activation of

  In order to activate a named license, it is required to have Internet connection.

• If the activation is successful, internet connection is not necessary anymore.

Concurrent license

A Concurrent Use license enables multiple users to share access to CostOS from any computer on a network or from a virtual machine. License Licence file is provided by Nomitech and is installed on CostOS Application Server and CostOS Application server manages the distribution of a pool of shared licenses. The number of Concurrent Use licenses in the shared pool determines the number of users who can use an application at a given time. When a user starts CostOS, the application sends a request to CostOS Application server to determine if a license is available. If a license is available, the application starts and the number of available CostOS  licenses decreases by one. When the user exits CostOS , the license returns to the pool.
