There are 2 ways to update your CostOS workstation.
1st way (manually)
- Execute the installer CostOS_Workstation_x64_8.2.x.exe as an Administrator (right click Run as Administrator)
- Then, just simple click on Yes, update the existing installation, only if the Current installation path is the correct one and press Next.
- Click I accept the agreement and then press Next.
- press Next.
- press Next.
- If you want a CostOS desktop icon, tick the box and press Finish.
2st way (automatically)
When you have already upgraded the Application Server and try to login to the workstation, a window will pop up
- Click Upgrade
Confirm that the host name is the correct one and press Next.
- Define where the installer will be downloaded. Press Next.
Click Yes, execute the update installer now to proceed with the installation and press Finish.
then you could continue with the manual steps at they are described in the 1st way.
